About us
Built by and for the community
Featured in DJ Mag April 2022 issue and at Amsterdam Dance Event 2022 (ADE), The VIP Experience is a project devised and managed by DJ MissChivers and the not-for-profit company Sync Inspire CIC. The project aims to throw light on the challenges faced by DJs, producers and music artists in the electronic music industry, as well as electronic music fans and club/festival goers who are blind or have low vision, whilst creating increased accessibility and awareness of sight loss across our dance music world.
Over the past couple of years the initiative continued in the UK with more awareness building at various music industry events with panels and interviews, and with managing Accessibility Teams at various festivals and electronic music events whilst raising funds. Once we hit our fundraising target, selected club venues will be given a full accessibility audit followed by an awesome interior and technology revamp to enable blind and low vision club goers, DJs and performers to fully enjoy the experience without any anxiety or accessibility barriers. The changes may not be that apparent to sighted clubbers, but they will make a huge difference to those who may have reduced or entirely stopped enjoying the electronic music scene due to any level of sight loss.

The steering group consists of Yvette Chivers (DJ MissChivers), Tim Adnitt (Native Instruments), Michael Koczynski (Traktor), Andre Louis (musician), Che Leader (Rivibes), Lachi (producer, musician, vocalist), Question (producer and artist) and Ben Price (artist manager). Plus our super documentary film-maker Richard Jackson.
